Marc RogersScientifically known as the Polyrhythmus Paradiddlum, the drummer has a voracious appetite for wooden sticks and is known for rocking out. But only during the winter months do they do it with their socks out.5 days ago   ·  2
Raymond L CardenasI was going to put down "wow you highlighted your head", but then I looked at it closer it's just the drum stick. Keep on rocking lady 🤘5 days ago   ·  1

Meytal CohenFirst one to guess which snare solo Is kicking my ass right now, gets a Free Meytal T of their choosing - meytalcohen.com/shop 😎1 week ago   ·  9
Sam Moonenhahaha Don't see you in a uniform marching up and down...1 week ago
David BarajasDo you mess with traditional grip at all?1 week ago
Patrick Macalusoyea, but in drum corps you only play one drum at a time1 week ago
Clint RowanTradition grip is the most popular way for drum corp. But, like myself, not everyone likes traditional. But let me see if I can explain what I did. I wouldnt hold my sticks with my index finger under the sticks. My sticks would be between my thumb and index fingers, not putting my index finger under the stick but on the side. My ring finger would be the, I guess you could call, my bounce support. And its all in the wrist, only your wrist moves, not your arm. The looser the grip the more free the sticks are, which gives a more rat a tat tat sound. Hope this made some type of sense.7 days ago   ·  3
Jeffrey Rosensteinuse fat sticks, its like a baseball player using a weight on his bat. makes you stronger, and faster. I was a good drummer at one point, my teacher didn't give me thin sticks for 5 years...got strong7 days ago   ·  1
Shane Williams Sr.I find that you posting what you are struggling with to be extremely awesome. Kids out there that are having a hard time with their instrument and wanting to give up should be inspired. Knowing that even the best struggle sometimes is worth sharing. Thank you.6 days ago
Pete SajovicWatching again, try a traditional or match grip. Your French grip is great to keep the stick open but I found it personally to a match grip (palms down) to give me better control. Watch Carl Palmer or Ian Paice.7 days ago
Pete SajovicUse a heavy stick. Then practice your rudiments over and over. Then string some together. Clams, para-diddles, rat-a-ma-cues and different stroke rolls. Be mindful of upstroke and downstrokes.7 days ago
Jim GeislerJust listen to other great drummers like the one Jimmy Hendrix had pick 30 or 10 seconds of his licks work on it over and over tell you have it in your Bag .JUST KEEP ADDING TO YOUR BAG.G7 days ago
Whitney DaweHaha paradiddle ... if it makes you feel better, I sucked at them in my music classes too and I'm supposedly a "professional" musician.6 days ago
William ClevelandI grew up playing in a drum corp. Best times of my life. I started with an old school music book called "the 26 basic rudiments of drumming". Doubt it's still in print now.................7 days ago
Ari RabinovitchMe too. I went to a high school that was too small for a corps. Wonder what kind of drummer I'd be today if I had that kind of training at a young age...6 days ago
Nick Howellstick positioning completely different. Rotate your wrists inward so that they're flat. and then pa-ra-did-dle pa-ra-did-dle! 🙂7 days ago
Travis FischerIt was definitely very helpful. I was in the Cadets in 2000 and 01, I miss it every day, lol. You're pretty great without it though!1 week ago
Walter Rothhaar👍Hallo 😘Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Abend 🌞☺🌕kennst du # ,,Nemesis" von Arch Enemy und kannst du das spielen😀☺😉ich finde dies super cool7 days ago
Steve VercellNot bad!!!!! Pretty good I was in a high school marching band that we played the national anthem on Wrigley Field in Chicago..7 days ago
Andrew James WalkerI don't think your fans would care if you had those skills. You're pretty awesome without them! 😉6 days ago
Christopher WilliamsMaybe get a marching snare drum. Those things are tuned highhhhh & easy to do taps on. 👍🏼7 days ago
Forrest ManningOne of my fondest memories was being in a drum line! Priceless... but you STILL RAWK!2 days ago

Russ PolvadoMy $80 dollar kit from Craigslist that has tape and pillows stuffed everywhere. Drum Zone. Yep, stellar stuff. How was your Passover??1 week ago   ·  1
Rocky HofferHave a great day cutie. The Rock1 week ago   ·  1
Butch QuarlesI dont play drums but the drum work drums to me are the best . The wood is good for tone that means they record good and they play live awesome a lot of drummers in rock and county us them a lot. to me so fare there the best for live and recording DW's1 week ago   ·  1
Pete SajovicBlack slate Ludwig keystone 4 piece. Also have a seven piece Pearl masters in black. Not a fan of the black but they're great drums. I have 12 Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste cymbals. Plus four snares. Gretsch satin finish 5 1/2, Ludwig vintage 5 1/2, Tama firecracker 3 1\2 and a Tama 6 1/2.6 days ago
Roy BergmansAiiii I have a pdp kit with one 8 inch dw (because pdp is little brother of dw) 2 * 10 inch, 2*12 inch, 14 inch and 16 inch toms. A 20 inch kick a 14 inch snare and a no lower pad or snare 14 inch snare (with many dempers ofc) and a 22 inch kick that I use as tom. And cymbals of amedia Rock this kit for a good 6 years6 days ago
Tim CollinsFor 20+ years, my kit has been a 6pc Peavy Radial Pro, 10,12,14,16 toms, 22 bass, custom maple snare with a white pearl outer shell. They have the best natural sound live or recorded that I've ever heard. The kick drum is amazing, and the toms have a great tone without the annoying over-ring so many drums have. Mine are the originals - not the funky versions Peavy released later. Love my DW 5000 DBL bass pedals that I won as a door prize from Bernard Purdie at his jazz festival in Fairhill, MD about 15 years ago. He is an awesome gentleman, and I felt honored to accept them from him.1 week ago
Jeremy SmithI became an apprentice drum builder under Rick Spano at drums northwest when I was 16, and then went to work for under Al Adinolfi at boom theory percussion. I began acquiring tools and have built all my own drumsets from keller shells, or random maple shells from other kits which I refurbished to suit my needs. I've never owned a name brand kit, except my first one, which was called a tempro pro. My current kit has an old maple rogers kick, a 24, a mapex tom and a rogers floor tom, and a pearl snare. I can't even imagine just buying a complete drumset7 days ago
Chadwick Ezra Seets Jr.I love rockin the pearl series but I'm always willing to try other kits plus I love custom so I built mine from several different kits that were no longer in use but still had life in the hardware. But I also bought new heads and cymbals for that personal interest in quality and sound all in all I try to keep things alive as long as possible including my love for music and drums. I really appreciate you hard work and thank you for sharing. From one drummer to another keep the music alive and play from the heart. And keep those beats coming1 week ago
Mike Animaal LantzI've yet to find a current brand that can top my 1966 Slingerlands for tone & warmth..not to mention LOUD...with a capital LOUD!!..& its just a 12", 13" 16" & 20" kick which i drive with an old Pearl P880 single pedal..no need for a double with that one 😉 also stumbled into a 14X5 Rogers Dynasonic COB snare..it makes for a fun 'office'!1 week ago
Michael HardinLate 80's pearl export in yellow flash. Have not been able to purchase anything newer other than stix and heads. But would live to get my hands on a 7 pcs Gretsch kit.1 week ago
Walter PayneI had an older set of Premier XPK's. Black on the inside with the long tension casings. The official color was Turquoise but they were more green than blue. Really miss that set.1 week ago
Pieter WetselaarSonor Designer: 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 toms, 18x22 kick, DW hardware DW8002, DW5500 delta 2 legs HHstand, DW 9300 and Paiste cymbals... sounds awsome! Come to Holland and i'll let you hit it... 😏1 week ago
Mathieu MissereyLearned to play on my prof pearl kit, tried several other brand but will stay on pearl for sure. Own now a Pearl master series love it and won't change it for anything ! Rock'n'Roll !!6 days ago
Rodney NeelyI have a set of Ludwig Keystones I bought off of Craigslist. If you allow me to play yours, I might be a DW fan. Rock on Meytal!!1 week ago
Bob DickeyMy 80,s Gretsch Custom Jasper kit. still the best sounding toms and kick drum. The sing stay In Tune and are touch sensitive.1 week ago   ·  1
Michael LeongYamaha 3 piece birch shell bop kit, ludwig maple snare, Sabian dejohnette ride, zildjian fast crash, zildjian Constantinople crash, Istanbul agop hi hats, dw 500 one piece bass drum pedal. Old school...1 week ago
Steve MillsMy DW toms in Tangerine Glass; 10", 12", 15", and 18" with wide open Ambassadors, Ludwig piccolo snare, kick triggering samples, and a whole bunch of cymbals from 6" to 24".1 week ago   ·  2
AR GadsbyMines currently a Pearl VRX Vision (Maple) series with DW9000 pedals and Paiste cymbals. I'd LOVE to grab a Masterworks Series but because I no longer play on stage (or with a band) these days I can't justify the expense... but hey, I can dream can't I? 😊1 week ago   ·  2
Tony InmanMy favourite would have to be the Pearl Export kit that I got all the way back in 2003, before they discontinued and brought back the Export series. It's my current cover photo, for the curious.1 week ago
Lennon Sims-BrownIs the kit I got from a guy who built it himself from Keller shells. The lugs on the bass don't match the ones on the toms and a couple of tension rods have to go into specific places but it still everything I wanted from it and more.1 week ago
Alfredo SánchezMy favourite is my BABY: Ludwig Vistalite Pro, That I have it since 1978, and I do not change it for any other. And my set of 7 Zildjian cymbals, which are all before 1975. But I like your DW Black.1 week ago
William StoppenbachHad a Fibes kit in the early 80's.....For some reason that snare was the best I've ever heard or used. Fibes was affiliated with Martin1 week ago
Robert FuhrShe is a bad ass. But plays with absolutely no passion. Can't get over that. Watched her play Metallica and wanted to fall asleep.1 week ago
Jack ThurstonI think that my lollipop orange set of Yamaha drums was probably my favorite. They were ugly but it was a rather large set. I also had some shiny chrome drums once.1 week ago
Prabhath T Thankachenyou are always an evergreen rocking star.....your each beats are not only making rhythm in our ears...but in our hearts too...we love you dear....1 week ago
